Hardware Support Engineer

Provide support for the UK’s biggest charities

We’re GoodBox – a start-up dedicated to building new technologies that connect donors with deserving causes.

Since 2016, we’ve dedicated ourselves to helping fundraisers deal with the impact a cashless society is having on the charity sector. By harnessing the power of contactless technology, our products are helping some of the UK’s biggest charities receive up to 85% more in donations. Together, we’re shaping the future of fundraising.

How can you help our cause?

Our products are used by charities right across the UK, in museums, train stations, and churches. We need a Hardware Support Engineer to visit our customers and provide onsite support with device installation, troubleshooting and testing. You’ll prepare devices for configuration, ensuring they’re charged up, loaded with the correct visuals and they have the correct accessories, set up devices for our customers and check over rental devices that have been returned to us.

Who are we looking for?

As a growing start-up, we care about your attitude more than your qualifications. We want someone who’s keen to learn new skills, enthusiastic about the success of our business and willing to get stuck in and help out. We’ll teach you how to use, install and operate our devices, but you’ll need excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow clear instructions. As you’ll be working on-site with customers, you’ll need fantastic communication skills, as well as a willingness to travel at least twice a week to sites across the UK.

Why GoodBox?

When you work for GoodBox, you’re not just helping our company succeed – you’re helping charities all over the UK access the funds they need to keep doing great work. You’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit team of people, all working towards the same goal and all willing to help one another out.
