Booth Centre

Booth Centre is a Manchester based charity that gives assistance to the homeless by providing them with creative, educational and health services. In November this year, GoodBox was contacted to work alongside Booth Centre to raise money during Shop Direct’s Charity Ball.

GoodBox’s mobile units moved between being plugged in on a table and being walked around by a volunteer. The flexibility allowed for the devices to be seen by the most amount of people possible. The GoodBox units were a part of the reason £210,000 was raised during the ball. The funds that Booth Centre receives as a result of this night will make a world of difference to the number of people they can help. The money will go towards some of their many services to the homeless, such as the free weekday breakfasts or the employment opportunities given in order to boost self esteem and confidence.

GoodBox is no stranger to the fight against homelessness and is thrilled to be able to partner with a charity as wholesome and altruistic as Booth Centre.
