We are a diverse bunch. GoodBox is made up of charity founders, fundraising experts, product engineers, software developers & operation specialists.

Andrew O’Brien

CEO

Andrew brings over one decade of experience in investment banking to the table from his time at Credit Suisse and Industrial & Commercial Bank of China. Andrew was introduced to FinTech during his time as Managing Director of QixPay, ultimately completing its sale to Payacard Services.

Francesca Hodgson

COO

Prior to founding GoodBox, Francesca worked at BGC Partners LP, a global broking firm where she headed the department responsible for CSR and the annual charity day. Having worked with UK charities for over a decade with a prior role at World Cancer Research Fund, Francesca has a passion for philanthropy and is dedicated to making a difference.

Tibor Barna

CTO

Our resident tech wizard has a Master of Computer Science from Oxford University as well as a Master’s of Finance from LSE. Tibor has led technology teams in highly regulated enterprise environments such as UBS Investment Bank and Hilti Corporation. In his start-up career Tibor has won two awards for innovative technology products in the hospitality space.

David White

CFO

David brings 18 years of finance experience within start-up and global billion-dollar organisations. He spent 5 years at NES Global Talent where he grew the business to $1b of revenue. Following this, David was at Uniting Ambition, where he played a strategic role in the growth of the company, ultimately completing a management buyout in 2017.

Nick Smith

CCO

Nick brings 12 years of sales and account management experience in client facing sales to GoodBox. Prior to GoodBox, Nick spent 6 years managing key accounts and teams at Capita Symonds. Following this Nick founded an independent agency focused on strategic real estate acquisitions for high profile clients across Europe.

Tanya Parker

VP of Operations

Tanya has over 20 years of technical, operational and payments expertise within the retail, hospitality and financial services sectors. Her previous role at Monek, GoodBox’s gateway partner, has given her a wealth of experience in payment processing. she has a passion for operational excellence and empowering her teams to achieve greatness.

Jill McDonald

Operations Director

Jill is a highly dynamic and knowledgeable Operations Director, who brings a wealth of experience in operations and customer service to GoodBox. Jill has led transport functions and customer contact centres across the UK, even once winning the BBC programme, ‘Who’s The Boss’, in which applicants went head to head to be chosen by staff as the boss.

Polly Gilbert

Marketing Director

Alongside her role at GoodBox, Polly is the co-founder of non-profit TAP London which explores technology-based solutions to homelessness. Prior to this, Polly worked in marketing and advertising, at Y&R and J. Walter Thompson. A self-trained designer, Polly is passionate about branding and strategic design.

Katie Whitlock

Strategy Director

Katie completed a Masters and Post-Graduate Research in Sociology at University of Cambridge before moving into strategy in advertising, working across companies in pharma, hospitality and charity. Spotting the huge potential in contactless giving, she left J. Walter Thompson in 2016 to found TAP London, with Polly.

Jenell Rogers

Senior Accounts Manager

Jenell is an experienced operations manager with a wealth of skills relating to  client interaction. Since coming to GoodBox in late 2018, she has dedicated her expertise to GoodBox in order to maintain and improve the relationships with current clients.

Cameron Bird

Sales Executive

After graduating from The University of Manchester, Cameron spent time as Recruitment Consultant before coming to GoodBox. With a wide range of acquired skills from his previous occupation, Cameron is in the perfect place to excel within his GoodBox sales position.

Isabelle Foss

Associate

Before joining GoodBox in 2018, Isabelle held a position as a Client Engagement Associate with Coutts. This experience, as well as her studies at New York University and The London School of Economics, have framed her to be a great addition to the team, with an exciting future ahead.
